French President Emmanuel Macron thanked President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi during the opening of the French Business Forum, saying, "Thank you very much for receiving me yesterday."
Macron continued, saying, "France, as you know, loves Egypt and trusts it. We are the first investor outside the hydrocarbon sector in Egypt, with more than 7 billion euros in private investments. We also add to this the commitment of the French Development Agency to its work in Egypt across various sectors, including health, education, energy, and water. We are a reliable partner, and together we can create prosperity."
