The French President Macron extended his “warmest congratulations” to the outgoing Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on the occasion of his re-election, according to a statement from the Elysee Palace.
Macron stressed the "exceptional relationship" between the two countries despite the repeated crises.
