Marvel Studios has unveiled the official poster for season 2 of the highly-anticipated series "Loki".
The poster puts Miss Minutes and Tom Hiddleston's titular God of Mischief in the spotlight. It also shows a new look at Miss Minutes while also seemingly highlighting different Variants of Loki, potentially hinting that more versions of the God of Mischief will appear in Season 2.
This poster also further establishes that Season 2 will not be delayed despite the ongoing writers' and actors' strikes. However, the actors involved in the project are prohibited from participating in promoting the upcoming season.
"Loki" is set in a Marvel Cinematic Universe-adjacent world and follows the events of “Avengers: Endgame”.
It follows Loki (Tom Hiddleston) taken in by the Time Variance Authority (a.k.a. the TVA) with Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) taking on his role as a handler as Loki only can set right all of the timeline breakages he created by taking the Tesseract during the events of “Avengers: Endgame”.
In the Loki Season 1 finale, it was revealed that Miss Minutes served as He Who Remains' messenger in the Citadel at the End of Time, indicating that she has close ties to the former leader of TVA.
Hiddleston is joined in the cast by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant.
Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead direct and executive produce Season 2. Eric Martin is head writer and executive produces, alongside Hiddleston and Michael Waldron.
"Loki" Season 2 is set to premiere on Disney+ on October 6. New episodes will air weekly.
