Hours ago, the Libyan National Army (LNA) announced that it has started working to re-establish the main operations rooms for its branches and assign effecient officers, professionals at battlefields, with their responsibilities.

In an official statement, the Libyan army said that the management of military operations will be better within the framework of a tight strategic plan that includes heightening the capabilities of the Libyan armed forces, civil authorities and the Libyan people with its multiple tribes and elites.

The statement indicated that the Libyan forces have left the cities in order to protect civilians and will fight the enemy in open lands.

LNA confirmed that the military operations aim at combating terrorism and foreign mercenaries.

The statement pointed out that Turkey "intervened to support the enemies of the homeland, threatening peace and security and that the Turkish president does not need the Libyans and does not drive them to reach national solutions to the current crisis, but came for the purpose of controlling the wealth and resources of Libya as well as to revive the defeated Ottoman Empire."

The LNA pointed out that throughout history Turkey had seized the capabilities of the Libyan people and their lands and turned them into refugees and minorities, indicating that the armed forces are fighting so that the scene in Libya does not turn to the same fate with the Armenians and the Kurdish nation.

Ankara continues to support Al-Wefaq militias and supply them with weapons and fighters to fight against the Libyan army, where "Al-Arabiya" and "Al-Hadath" sources reported the arrival of a plane from Turkey to Libya with 126 mercenaries on board.

"Al-Wefaq" said earlier that Turkey decided to resume air traffic with Libya, and that "4 Turkish military aircraft of the type C130 have already landed in Misrata, carrying logistical support. It also added that "13 Turkish aircraft landed on the Libyan soil."

On another hand, Russia canceled a visit scheduled for its Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and its Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to Istanbul, Turkey, to discuss developments in the situation in Libya with Turkish officials, in a sign of the continuing differences between the two sides over the war-torn country.

In the announcement, the Russian Foreign Ministry did not explain the reason for the delay.

Turkey provides continued military support to militias loyal to the Fayez al-Sarraj government in Tripoli, in defiance of international resolutions attending the country's arms supply.

Meanwhile, the US State Department confirmed to Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath that the political and security talks led by the United Nations and the Berlin talks are the internationally agreed frameworks for pursuing a solution to the Libyan crisis.

The State Department said that mercenaries and foreign fighters should be removed from Libya, stressing that all foreign actors withdraw their military equipment from Libya.

The US State Department appreciated Egypt's efforts to announce a UN-brokered cease-fire initiative in Libya, calling on all Libyan parties to engage seriously in the 5 + 5 talks.
