Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister (PM) Najib Mikati discussed the current situation in Lebanon and ongoing efforts to reach a ceasefire with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency on Saturday, this came during a phone call made by Mikati to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, where he expressed his gratitude for the UAE's continuous support for Lebanon, particularly its recent humanitarian assistance, which is helping to aid displaced persons and support the government's efforts in facing the major disaster that has struck Lebanon.
