The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that five people were killed and three were injured as a result of the occupation forces raids on Nabatieh, south of the country, according to Al Qahera News channel.
Since late last September, Israel has intensified its air strikes and begun ground operations in Lebanon, about a year after exchanging bombings with Hezbollah against the backdrop of the war on the Gaza Strip. Hezbollah considered its strikes to be a “support front” for Gaza since the start of the war on it in October 2023.
Israel transferred the weight of its military operations to the northern front with Hezbollah, intensified its raids starting on September 23rd, and announced on the 30th of the same month the start of ground operations.
