Lebanese President's Daughter Contracts Coronavirus

Today, the daughter of Lebanese President Michel Aoun, Claudine Aoun Roukoz, announced that she contracted the new Coronavirus.

Meanwhile the total number of people infected with the virus in Lebanon exceeded 160,000.

Aoun Roukoz, who is president of the National Commission for Women’s Affairs in Lebanon, said on her Twitter page that she would go through 14 days of challenge and self-care to get rid of the virus.

Observers fear that the infection of close people to the 85-year-old Lebanese President will lead to the transmission of infection to him.

French President Emmanuel Macron canceled his visit to Lebanon, which was scheduled for today and tomorrow, after it was confirmed that he was infected with the Coronavirus.

It is expected that the Lebanese Ministry of Health will receive the "Pfizer" vaccines against Coronavirus in mid-February.
