The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan announced, on Tuesday, that the results of the parliamentary election are invalid, following violent protests in the country.

A person was killed in the ongoing clashes between security personnel and the demonstrators who are protesting the results of the weekend’s parliamentary elections in the country.

The President of Kyrgyzstan, Surandai Jeenbekov, revealed his intention to cancel the elections, indicating that the opposition is seeking to control power and spread chaos.

Jeenbekov urged the opposition to stop the protests, saying that he ordered the security forces not to use firearms, and reiterated his readiness to cancel the results of the parliamentary elections.
