Kuwait's Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, met with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Kuwait, Zhang Jianwei, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and strengthen the strategic partnership.
During the meeting on Monday, the Kuwaiti Prime Minister reviewed the progress of developmental projects outlined in the memorandums of understanding signed during the visit of Kuwait's Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to China.
The memorandums of understanding include cooperation on the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port project, collaboration in the energy sector, including renewable energy development, and a green, low-carbon waste recycling system. Other areas of cooperation include housing development, environmental infrastructure for wastewater treatment plants, free zones, economic zones, and mechanisms for implementing the joint statement on the five-year bilateral cooperation plan for 2024–2028.
