Marcel Kohler, Al-Ahly’s technical director, expressed his happiness with his team’s victory over Al-Ittihad of Alexandria by four goals to one, stressing: “We started the first half well and scored three goals, and I spoke to the players at halftime to continue with the same performance, which did not happen.”

Kohler said: We were subjected to pressure from the opposing team, and we conceded a goal. Changes were made to help us return to the match and control its course. Indeed, we were able to do that and scored the fourth goal that killed the match. We finished the match and it was possible to score other goals.
