Juventus announced in an official statement that their player, Federico Gatti, have suffered a tear in the knee meniscus, after taking part in Tuesday’s match against Udinese in the Round of 16 of the Coppa Italia.
Juventus defeated Udinese 2–0 yesterday, qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia.
The match saw Gatti leave the pitch injured in the 56th minute.
In its statement, Juventus indicated that Gatti will undergo knee surgery in the coming days before beginning his recovery period.
The club did not specify the length of Federico Gatti’s absence following the serious injury he sustained against Udinese.
Gatti has made 14 appearances for Juventus since the start of the current season, scoring two goals.
With Gatti’s addition, Juventus’ injury list now reached seven players, including Dusan Vlahović, Daniele Rugani, Bremer, Mattia Perin, Arkadiusz Milik, and Carlo Pinsoglio.
