Jordan stresses full support for Egyptian position on (GERD) issue

 Dr. Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of the House of Representatives, met during his official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,  Faisal Al-Fayez, Speaker of the Jordanian Senate.

Faisal Al-Fayez, Speaker of the Jordanian Senate, stressed the depth of the Egyptian-Jordanian relations at all levels, especially the parliamentary ones, stressing the need to continue coordination between the two brotherly countries to push bilateral relations to broader horizons. 

Faisal Al-Fayez called for holding an Arab economic summit in which the private sectors of the Arab world would participate in order to achieve and push for Arab economic integration, away from political tensions.

Al-Fayez stressed the importance of the Egyptian-Jordanian-Iraqi relations, as they are the nucleus of comprehensive Arab integration. The Speaker of the Jordanian Senate also valued the unlimited Egyptian support for Jordan's stability, stressing Jordan's full support for the Egyptian position on the issue of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).

During the meeting, Dr. Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of Parliament, praised the distinguished and close relations between Egypt and Jordan.
