UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson expressed that he feels pride after the UK succeded in distributing more than two billion Oxford-AstraZeneca doses in 170 countries, he tweeted on Tuesday.
He wrote: "Immensely proud that 2bn Oxford-AstraZeneca doses have been supplied in more than 170 countries."
Johnson continued: "This would not have been possible without the collective effort of so many, from researchers to those putting jabs in arms. Thanks to them, lives have been saved around the world."

Next, the Prime Minister described the current vaccination rollout in the UK, saying: "13 million people across the UK have now received a booster jab, and we're expanding the programme to include everyone aged 40 and above."
He added: "The third jab boosts weakening immunity back up to over 90% – it's vital you come forward for yours as soon as you are eligible."
According to the BBC, the UK reported on Tuesday new 37,243 cases, bringing the total reported cases to 9,637, 190 since the beginning of the pandemic.
In addition, new 214 deaths linked to Coronavirus were recorded, increasing the total number of deaths to 143,159.
