British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Saturday that Queen Elizabeth II is "on very good form" during their weekly talks.
Johnson added: “I spoke to Her Majesty as I do every week as part of my job and she was on very good form."
Next, he asserted: "She has been told by her doctors that she has got to rest and I think we have got to respect that and understand that and everybody wishes her all the very best."
The comments by the Prime Minister came after the recent statement released by Buckingham Palace regarding the 95-year-old-monarch's two-week rest that was recommended by her doctors.
Buckingham Palace’s statement said: “Her Majesty’s doctors have advised that she should continue to rest for at least the next two weeks. The doctors said that Her Majesty can continue to undertake light, desk-based duties during this time, including some virtual audiences, but not to undertake any official visits.”
This announcement followed the queen's short stay at the hospital for having “preliminary investigations.”
Therefore, the Palace asserted that she is fine, and she has recorded a speech for COP26 as she was prevented for make any official engagements.
The Queen cancelled her North Ireland tour upon medical advice to rest for a few days, Buckingham Palace revealed.
The Palace added in its statement that she is “in good spirits and is disappointed that she will no longer be able to visit Northern Ireland, where she had been due to undertake a series of engagements.”
