Japan Airlines systems returned to normal, with same-day ticket sales resuming, after a cyberattack delayed domestic and international flights.
The airlines added that its systems network was hit by a cyberattack, delaying at least 14 domestic flights and affecting some international flights.
The airline said the issues began at around 7:25 a.m. Japan time, prompting it to halt ticket sales for domestic and international flights for the rest of the day, Kyodo News reported.
It adding that it had temporarily disabled the router that caused the systems to malfunction. The attack could have a greater impact on its flights, it pointed out.
