On Monday, Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, announced the dispatch of the first aircraft laden with aid destined for the Gaza Strip via Egypt.
The news was conveyed by the Italian news agency (Agenzia Nazionale Stampa Associata, ANSA), quoting Tajani saying, "We will continue to send more humanitarian aid tomorrow, Tuesday, in an attempt to alleviate the hardships faced by the Palestinian people."
The head of Italian diplomacy mentioned that a delegation from both the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs, along with the United Nations, will be present.
Additionally, the Italian ambassador to Egypt will be there to organize the distribution of the aid, which will be handed over to the Red Crescent after crossing from Egypt through Rafah.
