Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein stressed on Sunday Baghdad's aspiration for more security cooperation and coordination with Egypt to confront the remnants of the ISIS terrorist organization.
This came during a meeting in which he received the credentials of Egypt’s new ambassador to Iraq Walid Mohamed Ismail on Saturday.
Hussein expressed the Iraqi Foreign Ministry's readiness to provide the necessary support for the success of the Egyptian diplomatic mission in his country, to enhance mutual cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, Egypt’s new ambassador to Iraq Walid Mohamed Ismail affirmed Egypt's aspiration to establish better relations with Iraq.
