Iran has warned that Israel and US military bases in the region would be among its potential targets, according to a statement by the spokesperson for Iran’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee.
The Iranian official said any hostile action against Iran would be met with a response “at the highest level,” adding that Iranian forces are currently at peak defensive and combat readiness.
He further warned that Iran’s response to any aggression would not be limited, advising that if the United States is concerned about the safety of its troops, it would be better for them to leave the region.
