Algerian Military deployed yesterday, Saturday, in eastern parts of the country to assist local authorities in removing the snow following a big storm.
Since the early hours of yesterday morning, most eastern and central regions of Algeria have witnessed heavy snowfall on areas that are more than 600 meters high.
The army intervened and sent its patrols to secure mountain paths and to break the isolation.
