Russia’s withdrawal from the agreement allowing Ukrainian exports via the Black Sea is exacerbating the global food security crisis and risking further inflating food prices, especially for low-income countries, the International Monetary Fund said on Wednesday.
An IMF spokesman said the international corporation will continue to closely monitor current developments in the region and their impact on global food security.
