Pakistani-Canadian actress Iman Vellani has addressed her future as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Speaking to Polygon ahead of the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, Vellani was asked about her role in the MCU and revealed that she’s been told things are fine on her end, but admitted she hasn’t been told much beyond that.

“I have been assured, so that feels good, but there was no more assurance than that. They give me breadcrumbs, and I try and make a meal out of it,” Vellani said.

Vellani made her debut in the MCU as Kamala Khan in 2022’s Disney+ series "Ms. Marvel" and also appeared alongside Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris in 2023’s "The Marvels", a sequel to Captain Marvel.

A second season for "Ms. Marvel" has not been confirmed as of this time.
