CAIRO, Feb. 9 (SEE) - Egyptian tourist city of Hurghada is going to host the African Para-Taekwondo Open Championship’s fourth edition on 20 February.
So far, 28 countries have
confirmed their participation in the one-day tournament.
Africa is represented by Morocco,
Senegal, Niger, Cameron, Tunisia, Rwanda, the Central Africa Republic, Congo, and
Egypt (the host country).
The USA and Brazil are
representing North and South America. On the other side, Jordan, Japan, UAE, and
Kazakhstan are representing Asia.
Europe is going to be presented
by Denmark, France, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Great Britain, Italy,
Poland, Croatia, and Finland.
In this regard, vice-president of
the World Taekwondo Federation and the head of the African Taekwondo Federation
Ahmed El-Fouli said, “Egypt is the land of civilizations and it is always
opening its hands to host such international events through which it sends a
message to the whole world that it is the land of peace and inclusion.”
