Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban said his country has a priority in deepening relations with Egypt at various levels.
He added, during a joint press conference with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, at the Al-Ittihadiya Palace, that Hungary is seeking to take a decisive stance towards illegal immigration.
The prime minister noted that without Egypt's efforts, Europe would be mired in complicated issues, and Egypt's stability is linked to the security of Europe and our country.
“Europe should be grateful to it (Egypt) and to you in particular, Mr. President (el-Sisi), and now I can express these thanks and gratitude from my side,” he added.
Orban explained that both countries conducted wonderful negotiations at the level of bilateral relations, and there is an Egyptian-Hungarian economic forum in which 86 companies participate, so they will form close cooperation in nuclear energy.
After 2026 Hungary will buy liquefied gas from Egypt.
