Huawei to Provide Egypt's NRC with Digital Transformation Solutions

Huawei Technologies Egypt announced on Sunday a joint cooperation with the National Research Center (NRC) to develop the center's activities and business and support the digital transformation process.

The joint cooperation aims to provide full technical support in the fields of information technology (IT) at various levels within the center as well as establishing a special data center for the NRC through the formation of a complete information network connected to a central control room, whether for researchers' or administrative activities.

Mohamed Gamal, Director of the Data Center at the National Research Center said that it is expected during the current days that a protocol will be signed between the NRC and Huawei Technologies to complete the joint activities between the two parties, developing the center with Huawei Technologies.

He pointed out that the cooperation between Huawei and the National Research Center began with the establishment of the National Data Center for Research in 2017.

It is noteworthy that Huawei is a major partner in the process of digital transformation in Egypt by providing fast and smart technologies aimed at enabling companies, government and private institutions with digital transformation solutions and smart business models to help achieve Egypt's vision 2030.
