A concert of Travis Scott an American rapper has been banned by Egyptian Musicians Syndicate from performing at the Giza pyramids on the 28th of July. Social media campaigns against what some critics view as rewriting history by claiming ancient Egyptian pharaohs were Black.
International music stars often perform at the base of Egypt’s famed pyramids near the capital, Cairo, and the powerful musicians union rarely opposes such events.
