Hot, Humid Weather Prevails Across Egypt on Tuesday, Cairo 33°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot and humid weather will prevail in most of the country during Tuesday’s daylight hours.

Extremely hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in the South Upper Egypt.

The country will also witness mist, extending into fog, on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, North Upper Egypt, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, and Central Sinai.

Wind will occur occasionally across the country.

There is a chance of light rainfall hitting intermittently in the North Coast, Canal Cities, and North Lower Egypt.

Meteorologists also predict that the country will continue experiencing a slight temperature decline.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Maritime navigation is also expected to be disrupted in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, with winds averaging 40 to 60 km/h and waves ranging between 2 and 3 meters.

Moderately hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, turning moderate in the early hours.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 33°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 35°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
