Hezbollah stated that this operation came in response to the barbaric Israeli occupation of cities, villages and civilians and in defense of Lebanon and its people.
This statement comes after the operation, which is the first after the Hezbollah announced the martyrdom of its Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, in Israeli raids that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut, yesterday, Friday.
The Israeli occupation army had said that it had “killed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Hezbollah organization and one of its founders.”
