Helmy Bakr Taken to ICU in Hospital

Iconic singer and the Musicians Syndicate board of directors member Nadia Mostafa said, Thursday, that veteran music composer Helmy Bakr returned to the ICU.

Mostafa added that the reason for transporting Bakr to the ICU is heart problems and low oxygen rates in the blood. 

She added that the composer suffered several medical problems with cardiac muscle and kidneys. The kidneys issued have been medically cleared, but he is still suffering from cardiac muscle issues.

Therefore, the medical team prevented him from talking or being emotional in any situation, in addition, they stopped all visits.

Previously, Dr. Nour Abu Hassab said that veteran music composer Helmy Bakr's health was improved.

He added that Bakr was transported from the ICU to a single room for three days.

Moreover, the veteran composer was transported due to kidney problems, and some issues like swelling in the feet, and breathing problems.

He was transported to the ICU to examine the functions of his kidneys.  

Abu Hassab thanked the head of the Musicians Syndicate Mostafa Kamel for his care and support to Bakr.
