CAIRO, SEPTEMBER 4 (SEE) : Heliopolis University organized a religious forum which is sponsored by Reformed political party in the Netherlands, in collaboration with CAWU (Center for Arab West Understandings).
The forum supports cultural and interfaith dialogue among people from all over the world.
President of the university Dr.Yousry Hashim said that 25 participants from 11 different countries took part in various activities and workshops.
The participants discussed many issues such as the role of media in boosting rapprochement between countries, in addition to the role of education in enhancing good morals in society.
Hashim added that the participants learned more about Egyptian civilization after their visit to the Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Muizz street and El Qanater El Khayreya "barrage" in addition to taking a trip down the river.
The visits included going to El-Salam Medical Center which aims to help poor families in Egypt. It stands as an example for inter-religious cooperation.
