Egyptologist Zahi Hawass asserted that the latest viral Nefertiti and Akhenaten’s digital photos are mythical, and not close to the truth. The new photos were adjusted by a Dutch photographer using artificial intelligence.
He added that the latest scans of the mummies could not identify the real look of the king, wondering the possibility of painting the real look of a queen depending on portraits.
Finally, Hawass pointed out that most of the Egyptians in Upper Egypt still carry the same physical characteristics as the ancient Egyptians, unlike the people of Delta.
People of Delta’s physical characteristics passed through many transformations due to mixing up with other races.
