Prominent Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass gave a lecture on recent archaeological discoveries at Komazawa University in Japan.
Hawass spoke about the recent archaeological discoveries in Luxor in the Valley of the Kings, the Lost Golden City, and his latest discovery in Saqqara.
Hawass thanked Japan for its cooperation with Egypt on the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) and the second Khufu solar ship.
The lecture was attended by Congo Tari, Minister of the Digital Agency, Amr El-Qadi, Chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority, as well as many students, intellectuals, and media professionals.
Hawass signed his new book, which was published in Japanese, about King Tutankhamun.
Furthermore, Hawass was presented a Ted flower by University President Dr. Yoko Kagam.
