Egypt and Barcelona handball player Ali Zein has inspired his side to win the Liga ASOBAL following their victory over Helvetia Anaitasuna.
Zein has had an outstanding start to his season with Barcelona, helping them secure the Supercopa ASOBAL and the Catalan Super Cup.
With a 30-26 win over Granollers last month, the Blaugrana lifted the Copa del Rey title to win their third trophy this season.
On Saturday, Barcelona added another title to their trophy cabinet as they sealed the Liga ASOBAL title with five games remaining following their narrow triumph over Helvetia Anaitasuna.
Barcelona started the game on the front foot and went into half-time with an 18-12 lead in what seemed to be a comfortable game for the defending champions.
However, Helvetia Anaitasuna almost spoiled the party as they turned the game on its head and took the lead in the second half before Barcelona ultimately prevailed with a 35-34 scoreline.
