Haifa Wehbe Drops out of TV Series “Harb Ahliya”

Lebanese singer-actress, Haifa Wehbe dropped out recently from TV series “Harb Ahliya” (Civil War), starring Yousra.

In a statement to Et bil Arabi, producer Gamal Al Adl stated that Wehbe dropped out from the series due to her commitment to performing several concerts in the U.S during the filming period, which enables her to coordinate between Egypt and the U.S.

Al Adl pointed out that they have not found an alternative yet because he and Yousra were infected with the Coronavirus, noting that their condition is stable and on their way to recovery.

The series is written by Ahmed Adel, directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz, and scheduled to be screened in the Ramadan 2021 drama marathon.

It marks the second collaboration between Yousra and Abdel Aziz. They collaborated for the first time in TV series “Kayanat Ahd”, which premiered last Ramadan.

Wehbe was seen recently in TV series “Eswed Fateh”.

“Eswed Fateh” also stars Ahmed Fahmi, Rogena, Salamah, Ahmed Fahmy, Motasem Al Nahar, Sabry Fawwaz, Omar Al Saeed, Firas Saayed, Rania Mansour, Hossam Jneed, Hanan Sulieman, Nancy Salah, Nasser Saif, Nabeel Nour Al-Din, and others.

It is scripted by Amin Jamal and directed by Karim El Adl.

The series is a social drama genre that revolves around conflict and betrayal.
