Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the German University in Cairo (GUC) Dr. Ashraf Mansour said the university has finished about 80% of Luxor visual identity project.
Mansour's remarks came on Wednesday during his meeting with Luxor Governor Mostafa Alham in governorate's officials and students.
"What had been completed is a matter of pride, because there is a visual identity for a globally-known place," Mansour went on saying.
Mansour noted that the project was just a dream and now it is implemented in reality, pointing to a great cooperation between GUC and the state's institutions.
"Nearly 3,000 people are working on this project with a support from the state's bodies," he added.
"The university is being honored by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi' assignment to implement this project."
GUC greets Egypt and Luxor for the venture's success which will maximizes the governorate's resources.
He also congratulated Alham as President Sisi renewed his trust in Alham to continue being Luxor governor.
