Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is slated to release in China on May 5, according to Deadline.
The Phase 5 MCU movie will be released the same day it launches in the US and other international territories.
The film becomes the third straight MCU movie to receive a China release, following “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”.
In this regard, “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” will be Marvel's second $1 billion movie in the Multiverse Saga.
This is a mark that the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies failed to hit, but they were still big hits for the studio earning $773 million and $863 million.
The franchise has an audience in China, as the first movie made $86 million there, while the sequel made $100 million.
