Greenback Drops against EGP Ahead of Ramadan

The dollar dropped against the Egyptian currency in six banks at the end of today's trading, and settled in four other banks ahead of the holly month of Ramadan.

The price of the greenback dropped in the National Bank Of Egypt (NBE), Banque Misr, the Arab African International Bank, and the bank of Alexandria to record EGP 17.10 for purchase and EGP 17.20 for sale.

In addition, the dollar fell 3 piastres in Credit Agricole, to settle at EGP 17.10 for buy, and EGP 17.20 for sale.

The greenback also fell by 2 pt in the Bank of Housing & Development to reach EGP 17.11 for purchase, and EGP 17.21 for sale.

In the meantime, the dollar ended flat at the Commercial International Bank (CIB) at EGP 17.10 and EGP 17.20 and remained stable at Suez Canal Bank at EGP 17.11 for purchasing price and EGP 14.21 for sale.

As for Al-Baraka Bank, the US currency remained unchanged at EGP 17.13 for buying and EGP 17.23 for sale.

The price of the dollar also settled at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank at EGP 17.15 and EGP 17.23.
