Gov't to Implement 6 New Industrial Zones in Sohag, Qena

The National Center for Planning State Land Uses has agreed to reallocate 6 industrial zones in the governorates of Qena and Sohag.

Two industrial zones have been allocated in Qena governorate, and four other industrial zones in Sohag governorate, for the benefit of the General Authority for Industrial Development.

In the context of the state’s interest in the new administrative capital and the imminent transfer of state agencies to it, it was approved to allocate an area of 192 acres south of the Ain Sukhna Road in the new administrative capital, for the establishment of Ain Shams National University.

Future expansions have been taken into account in accordance with the terms and conditions decided by the concerned state agencies.
