The Ministry of Industry has established 17 industrial complexes in 15 governorates nationwide.
The total investment cost of these projects amounted to about EGP 10 billion.
The new industrial complexes include 5046 industrial units in various sectors.
The Ministry is working to facilitate the procedures for ownership and obtaining industrial units, in addition to reducing costs
It was decided to abolish the agency system to encourage only serious investors to apply for industrial units and start their own small and micro-projects.
