Google launched doodle in celebration of the FIFA World Cup 2022, which kicked off on Sunday.
The first match between hosts Qatar and Ecuador began at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.
BTS member Jungkook delivered a rocking performance with his single “Dreamers” at the opening ceremony. The K-pop idol shared the stage with Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi and set the world on fire.
“Host country authorities and FIFA will continue to ensure that the stadiums and surrounding areas provide an enjoyable, respectful, and pleasant experience for all fans," FIFA Media said in a statement.
“The tournament organizers appreciate AB InBev’s understanding and continued support to our joint commitment to cater for everyone during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.”
