Gold prices rose in local markets during Thursday's trading.
Engineer Saeed Embabi, Executive Director of the “iSagha” platform, said that gold prices rose by about 5 pounds in the local markets during today’s trading, as the price of a gram of 21 karat gold recorded 3,795 pounds, while an ounce decreased by about 8 dollars, to record 2,778 dollars.
Embabi added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded 4,337 pounds, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded 3,253 pounds, while a gram of 14 karat gold recorded about 2,530 pounds, and a gold pound recorded about 30,360 pounds.
