Gold prices rose in local markets during trading today, Friday.
Engineer Saeed Embaby, Executive Director of the “iSagha” platform, said that gold prices in the local markets rose by 25 pounds during today’s trading, bringing the price of a gram of 21 karat gold to 3,675 pounds, while an ounce rose by about 19 dollars, to record 2,711 dollars.
Embabi added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded 4,200 pounds, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded 3,150 pounds, while a gram of 14 karat gold recorded about 2,450 pounds, and a pound of gold recorded about 29,400 pounds.
