Gold Prices Decline, 21-Karat at EGP 3040

Gold prices experienced a slight decline in the local markets during today's trading session, Wednesday. 

The ounce also witnessed a marginal decline on the global stock exchange, as markets await the decision of the US Federal Reserve today, Wednesday, to determine the fate of interest rates.

Saeed Embabi, CEO of the “iSagha” platform said that gold prices witnessed a decline by EGP 10 in the local markets during today’s trading, as a gram of 21 karat gold recorded EGP 3040, while an ounce declined to $2152.

He added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded EGP 3474, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded about EGP 2606, and a pound of gold recorded about EGP 24320.
