Gold Prices Increased, Domestically, today, while the prices saw a stable performance in international markets as it is the international day off.
The CEO of Isagha Saied Embabi revealed that gold prices dropped by EGP 50 in local markets, today. The gram of 21-karat recorded EGP 2350, while the ounce hit $1978 internationally.
In the same context, the gram of 24-karat hit EGP 2686, 18-karat hit EGP 2015, and 14-karat was estimated at EGP 1567. The gold pound recorded EGP 18800.
Embabi highlighted that the increase in gold prices, internationally, came after the statements of the US Federal Reserve chairman.
He teased another increase in the interest rates due to the suffering of the banking sector, the crises of the debt ceiling, and the decline of the US dollar enhanced the performance of gold.
