Ghalia Benali to Perform at Alex Opera Tonight

Tunisian artist Ghalia Benali will have a Ramadan performance tonight, Saturday, at Sayed Darwish Theater, Alexandria Opera House.

Benali is well known for her innovative vision and rhythms of classic and nostalgic music selections, alongside her contemporary compositions.

Her songs also are full of spirituality, ingenuity, and cheerfulness which make her performances special experiences.

Last month, Dr. Enass Abdel Dayem, the Minister of Culture, approved Ramadan’s Cairo Opera House Schedule for all its venues on the occasion of selecting Cairo as the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World.

The program will include five concerts in the Fountain Open-Air Theater for Medhat Saleh, Ali El Haggar, Tarek Al Arabi Tourgan, Ghalia Benali, and Lina Shamimian.

Regarding the Open-Air Theater, it will host eight concerts for several underground and mainstream bands such as Al Hadra, and Nesma Abdel Aziz.

Moving to the Small Theater, it will host six events for Arabic ensembles from Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria Yemen, Indonesia, and Palestine.

Alexandria Opera House, it will host three concerts, whole Damnhur Opera House will host two concerts, one of them for Sheikh Mahmoud Tuhami.
