The Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) continues its cultural activities after opening its doors to the public on Thursday, January 26. Here is today’s, Saturday, program.
The Main Hall
At 12 - 13: 30: A seminar about Yehia Haqy and cinematic adaptations, and will be discussed by Dr. Khaled Montaser, and Kamal Ramzy.
At 2 - 3: 30: Identity in Egyptian Cinema by Dr. Magdy Ahmed Ali, and Dr. Nagy Fawzy.
At 4 - 5:30: A seminar about the future of the Egyptian drama by Shady Maqqar and Mohamed Soliman Abdel Malik.
At 6 - 7:30: A session about the issues of identity and future by Dr. Ahmed Morsy and Abdel Aziz Al Mosalm.

At 12 - 13:30: A discussion about culture, identity, and globalization.
At 2 - 3: 30: The 50th death anniversary of Taha Hussein celebrated by CIBF guest of honor, Greece.
At 4 - 5:30: "Michael Jackson's Revival" book exhibition and Arabic translation presentation.
At 6 - 7:30: A seminar about Feminism and the issue of identity in narratives by Dr. Rasha Samir, Amira Ghonim, and May Khaled.

At 12 - 1:30: A presentation of Ahmed Diab's short story "Alteqat Al Gheyab."
At 2 - 3: 30: Ahmed Sabry Abo El Fottoh's "Hikayat Min Ganazet Botchy" representation.
At 6 - 7: 30: An open meeting with author Gogha Al Harthy
