On the fifth day of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, SEE highlights dates, and venues of today’s matches.

Cameroon Vs. Guinea-Bissau

The cup holders will begin their mission against Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday at Ismailia Stadium (19:00 CLT).

Ghana Vs. Benin

Later that day, Ghana's Black Stars will begin their adventure in the tournament against Benin's Squirrels.

What happened in the first four days

In the first four days of the showpiece tournament, there were ten games. On Friday, June 21, the hosts made an ideal start of the AFCON by defeating Zimbabwe with unanswered one goal.

On the following day, Uganda’s Cranes clinched their first AFCON victory in 41 years after they beat DR.Congo’s Leopards with unanswered two goals. This win put Cranes top of Group A in one-goal difference from Pharaohs.

In Alexandria stadium, group B teams began their missions in the tournament on Saturday, when Nigeria’s Super Eagles snatched a narrow victory against debutants Burundi (1-0). This victory put the Eagles top of group B.

Later on the same day, Madagascar marked their first appearance in this glorious tournament with a draw against Guinea with two goals each in what can be described as the best match of the tournament so far.

On the third day of AFCON, Morocco secured their first Africa Cup of Nations victory as they pulled off a narrow win over Namibia in Group D at Al Salam Stadium.

Later that day, Senegal’s Lions of Teranga snatched a deserved victory over Group C rivals Tanzania. At the end of that day, Algeria’s Desert Warriors earned a 2-0 victory over Group C rivals Kenya.

On the fourth day, Ivory coast snatched their first AFCON victory after beating South Africa (Bafana Bafana) with unanswered one goal. Later that day, Angola held a 1-1 draw against Tunisia in Group E at Suez Stadium. At the end of the day, Mali's Eagles produced a dominant display to defeat debutants Mauritania (4-1). This win put Mali top of Group E.
