The Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) continues its cultural activities after opening its doors to the public on Thursday, January 28. Here is tomorrow's, Saturday, program.
Salah Jahin Hall
At 12 pm: From Arabic Feminist Writings
The guests will be Shahd Al Rawy (Iraq), Laila Al Matto' (Bahrain), Mariam Al Saa'di (UAE), and Rasha Samir. The discussion will be moderated by Reham Ibrahim.
At 2 pm: The Myth, and Folk Narrative in Kamel Al Kilany Literature
The guests will be Abdou Al Zaraa, Mohamed Sayed Abdel Tawab, and Montaser Thabet. The session will be moderated by Ibrahim Hanafy.
At 4 pm: We and Cultural Industries
The discussion will witness the participation of Adham Nadim, Mohamed Rashad, Mona Zakaria, and Hesham Soliman. It will be moderated by Mohamed Abdel Dayem.
At 6 pm: An interview with Dr. Reem Bahgat by Mostafa Al Menshawy.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, and the Minister of Culture Dr. Neven El Killany inaugurated the 54th Cairo International Book Fair.
The 54th edition takes place under the theme of "Egypt's Name- Together: Read, Think, Create."
Iconic late poet Salah Jahin is the figure of the CIBF, and author Kamil Kilany is the children's fair figure. Moreover, Jordan is the 54th edition guest of honor.
1047 publishers are participating in the event from 53 countries.
This edition will also present 500 various activities in seven halls at the Egypt International Exhibitions Center in New Cairo.
The working hours for Thursdays and Fridays will be between 10 am and 9 pm.
A number of buses are dedicated to being in the service of the CIBF visitors, in addition, the buses will depart from different squares and areas in Cairo.
The activities of the CIBF 54 will kick off between January 25 and February 6 at Egypt International Exhibition Center.
