AEW Dynasty 2026 delivered a chaotic, storyline-shifting night in Vancouver, headlined by controversy, brutality, and major championship changes that reshaped the company’s direction heading into the summer.

In the main event, MJF survived one of his toughest challenges yet, retaining the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega. 

Omega appeared to have the match won after hitting the One-Winged Angel, but a combination of referee downtime and MJF’s trademark opportunism, including a low blow and use of the Dynamite Diamond Ring, allowed the champion to steal the victory and escape with his title reign intact.

Elsewhere, Darby Allin secured a defining career moment by defeating Andrade El Ídolo to become the number one contender for the AEW World Championship. 

Following the win, Allin made it clear he intends to cash in his opportunity immediately, setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown on the next Dynamite.

The AEW Continental Championship picture also saw violence at its peak, as Jon Moxley once again proved unbreakable, retaining against Will Ospreay in a punishing encounter.

Ospreay’s relentless aggression ultimately cost him, as Moxley capitalized on a series of decisive, fight-ending sequences to remain champion.

Championship gold changed hands in other key moments of the night, with Kevin Knight emerging victorious in the Casino Gauntlet to capture the vacant TNT Championship, marking a breakout win in one of the most chaotic matches on the card. 

The Conglomeration also struck gold, capturing the AEW World Trios Championships in a surprise triumph.

The tag team and women’s divisions remained largely stable, with FTR retaining the AEW World Tag Team Titles in a violent defense against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, while Thekla narrowly escaped Jamie Hayter to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship through underhanded tactics.

Additional results saw the Young Bucks defeat Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita amid growing internal tension within their alliance, Ricochet defeat Chris Jericho in his return to action, and Kamille make a shocking comeback attack on Willow Nightingale before positioning herself as the next challenger for the TBS Championship.

AEW Dynasty 2026 closed with clear momentum shifts across multiple divisions, but one constant remained: MJF still stands at the top of AEW, dangerous, undefeated in spirit, and more manipulative than ever.
