German President Visits Saqqara Archaeological Site

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier visited Saqqara archaeological site, one of Egypt’s most important UNESCO World Heritage sites.

He was accompanied by Dietrich Rau, Director of the German Archaeological Institute (GAI) in Cairo, who gave him a special tour of this remarkable historical site.

Moreover, German President expressed great joy in discovering this significant part of ancient Egyptian civilization.
