The General Union of Egyptians Abroad is launching an operation room at the headquarters of the main center in Cairo to follow up on the voting of Egyptians abroad in the 2024 presidential election.

Members of the Board of Directors, the parliament, and the press and media personnel will participate in the processes.

The General Union is keen to follow up the electoral process through its members and branches throughout the world.

It held several meetings via Zoom with the official campaign of the candidate Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to arrange the mobilization of Egyptians abroad to participate in the presidential elections.

The general union also held further meetings with its branches around the world to achieve the largest possible participation.

Egyptians all over the world have prepared for the electoral process with all elements, including advertising, support, and necessary capabilities.

The first day of the election will be an official holiday for all workers abroad in the Arab region, the second day is considered a vacation for others, and the third day is also a vacation in the European region and the United States.

Many citizens in Egypt are awaiting the results received from abroad.

Ismail Ahmed Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad, said that the democratic elections must be completed with the supremacy of President Sisi and the resumption of democratic life, achievements, and major projects.

"Particularly since the challenges the region is witnessing are serious challenges that require a leader with the appropriate experience in leading the pivotal Egyptian state, the leader among its Arab brothers and the African bloc," he noted.

Ali added that the presidential elections for Egyptians abroad will be held December 1-3.

"The country needs its children abroad," he said. "The Egyptian masses expect a lot from their brothers abroad. It is a call that I hope will be fulfilled throughout participation to express the connection of the people abroad to the motherland."
